Bamboo Guerillas
Gavin N. Smith formed Bamboo Guerillas in April 2021 after writing `Chasing Shadows`, following the passing of his late father, Guy N. Smith. His father was a best-selling author of pulp horror which also inspired the name of the band. `Bamboo Guerillas` was one of Guy`s novels published in 1977.
BACKGROUND
As Gavin began to explore this newfound inspiration, he poured his heart and soul into his home studio, spending countless hours perfecting his sound and experimenting with new techniques. The result of this intense dedication was a collection of tracks that he knew had the potential to be something truly special. In particular, his songs "Breakout" and "Walked Away" stood out as powerful expressions of his musical vision, and Gavin knew that he had something truly unique to offer the world.
As he continued to work on his music, Gavin found himself drawn to the powerful emotions and themes that are central to his art. His song "Jail Of My Doubts" in particular became a focal point of his work, a powerful and deeply personal expression of his struggles and triumphs as a musician and a human being. `Jail Of My Doubts` was released in October 2022, shortly followed by`Walked Away` in December 2022.
